EXCITING MUSIC PROGRAMS!

Once again, professional musicians from the Conway Symphony Orchestra will be bringing their unique, interactive educational program to area schools. We are fortunate to have the program funded by our donors and sponsors, so there is absolutely NO cost to your school. Our musician visitors have received high praise from many of the area elementary and intermediate schools, and I know that the students at your school would enjoy their visit as well.

Our musicians will play several music selections from the classical repertoire to demonstrate this year's theme along with help from props and visuals. As always, we invite you to combine classes for a visit with other classroom teachers or your media specialist. The program is approximately 30 minutes, including time for questions.

A list of available dates and times will be posted in March, but we are available as a resource to send musicians to your class at anytime throughout the year! Class visits work best with groups of 25-50 kids, and we appreciate your help in scheduling back-to-back visits at your school for multiple classes/grade levels.

Community Music Program

The fantastic music of the CSO doesn’t just belong in the hall, it belongs out on the town!

CSO on the Go is our community outreach program, sending small ensembles out to community events to share the excitement of live, symphony music. We do performances in hospital lobbies, assisted living centers, library concerts, and more. We’re also a part of Chamber of Commerce luncheons and Downtown Partnership city-wide events like the Christmas tree lighting.

We partner frequently with other nonprofits – our musicians have performed at such events as ArtsFest, Arbor Day, and the Conway Human Development Center Polar Express. If you have an event that is open to the community (and is not a fundraiser,) and you’d like to share the music of the CSO, please contact us! We provide a 30-minute performance at no cost to the host, thanks to our donors and sponsors who support our community outreach programs.
