Izzy went to Bolivia!

This summer I returned to Santa Cruz, Bolivia, to participate in the 2nd annual International Orchestral Training Project hosted by UCA conducting graduate student Isaac Terceros and his Santa Cruz Philharmonic.  Joining us were a group of ten CSO & UCA musicians including faculty, alumni, and current & incoming students.

We enjoyed a wonderful week of rehearsals, masterclasses, media events and cultural experiences in preparation for two fabulous performances with the Philharmonic.  A big thank you to our sponsors, including UCA CFAC & Dept. of Music, the Philharmonic, as well as Partners of the Americas—we couldn’t have done it without you!

We are already in the process of planning the next festival in summer 2020 and hope to involve even more members of the CSO family, maybe even our audience!   Stay tuned….
